DataQruiser installation

DataQruiser is the desktop application for visualizing, searching, browsing, and organizing your data. To work with your data from Python instead, see qDrive installation.

Download

Pick your platform below to download the latest stable release, DataQruiser 2.0.6. See the release notes for what's new.

Installation

Run the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen instructions.

Install the downloaded package from a terminal:

# Debian / Ubuntu (.deb)
sudo apt install ./dataqruiser-2.0.6+3-linux.deb

# Fedora / RHEL (.rpm)
sudo rpm -i dataqruiser-2.0.6+3-linux.rpm

Synchronization service not installed?

The app normally installs the synchronization service (the qDrive background sync agent) automatically. If it is missing, the app still lets you browse and visualize data, but nothing is synchronized with the server. In that case, install qDrive manually to enable syncing.
